Replay/ Pandemic Film Fest

Join the Minneapolis/St Paul Chapter of The Links, Incorporated for a virtual viewing of the Pandemic Film Festival. Teenage filmmakers explored the effects of COVID-19 and social justice issues such as police brutality and homelessness on them and their families. Students in grades 6-12 were invited to use their cameras or smartphones to create a three-to-five minute film on how they and their families are surviving COVID-19 or other social justice pandemics.

Prizes were awarded to winning films in the 6-8 and 9-12 grade categories, and both the winning films and their creators are featured in this virtual Pandemic Film Festival.

I thoroughly enjoyed the videos from the young people. It’s encouraging to see them focused and wanting to make a mark on this world.

Such talented youth! The future is looking bright watching these students using Art to express themselves. Great job Links, love this programming !
