Virtual Town Hall
February is National Heart Month. Heart Disease is the #1 Killer of women and it disproportionately affects African American women. The Minneapolis – St Paul Links Inc. wants to raise our voices about Heart Disease during the month of February! Our “EmpowHer for Heart Health” initiative will provide programming in Heart Health, designed to take an aggressive stance against cardiovascular disease through partnerships with community organizations, health practitioners and churches
Black women physicians will give you practical tips, and tools, healthy heart habits, lifestyle and mindfulness practices.

White Roses were bestowed upon members who have gone above and beyond to foster friendship and engage members in chapter activities that highlight our commitment to the Links organization and each other.
Students saw speakers ranging from Health Administrators to Medical Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, as well as Occupational Therapists. They. also had a tour of HCMC and were able to do a question and answer ride session with an EMT.
Health & Human Services collaborated with Services to Youth to introduce students in Linked 4 Leadership to careers in the health field.
As we have been quarantined. We want to hear the voices of our youth! Please share with us how you have survived along with your families during this time. Two prizes in each category Grades 6-8 and 9-12 Prizes: 2 -$500 2-$250 2-$100 – Tell your story in a 3-5 minute film on how you or your family are surviving the Pandemic (COVID -19 or Social Justice). Give your film a title. Submission Deadline: January 19th 2021
